Unique Terrorist Description and MIAC Report

Here is a part of an article that has been widely circulated, but I cannot confirm on any government or police website. (big suprise) The Patriot Act and other homeland security documents do leave lots to be desired on what a "domestic terrorist" is, but just to show you how close our freedoms are from being taken away.

While you read this list think of two things
1. Anyone fitting this description would have the Patriot Act supercede all constitutional rights because you are a domestic terrorist.

2. Even if this was fake would it suprise you if it was real? (by the way it isn't fake)
  • Expressions of libertarian philosophies (statements, bumper stickers)
  • Second Amendment-oriented views (NRA or gun club membership, holding a CCW permit)
  • Survivalist literature (fictional books such as “Patriots” and “One Second After” are mentioned by name)
  • Self-sufficiency (stockpiling food, ammo, hand tools, medical supplies)
  • Fear of economic collapse (buying gold and barter items)
  • Religious views concerning the book of Revelation (apocalypse, anti-Christ)
  • Expressed fears of Big Brother or big government
  • Homeschooling
  • Declarations of Constitutional rights and civil liberties
  • Belief in a New World Order conspiracy

Although I was unable to confirm this list of what a domestic terrorist  is I did locate a report called the MIAC report which was training information for Missouri  police officers. Many of the things listed above are included in that report. They also list people who support Ron Paul as possible domestic terrorist.

You can view the entire MIAC Report here

Now am I trying to be the next Alex Jones conspiracy guru? Heck no, but it is important to show how dangerous government power can be through the patriot act. It doesn't take much to be used against us and I would argue that it already is against us.

Vote for freedom every time not temporary security. Freedom is priceless.
