Not Voting for the Lesser of Two Evils
This blog was originally inspired by the last presidential election.
Once the GOP canidate (McCain) was nominated the republican canidate I soon realized that the republicans had chosen possibly the worst canidate available.
Barack Obama became President of the United States because of a lack of good choice from the "Conservative right wing."
McCain was not even close to being a conservatie alternative to Barack Obama. In fact I would argue that McCain was a continuation of the last 2 Bush years.
Once in office Obama continued nearly every policy that Bush had started in his final two years and barely even deviated from President Bush's plan on bailing out companies and "stimulating" the economy with wasteful "spending."
My wife and I realized that the two parties canidates, democrat and republican, had in fact been basically the same option with slightly different views, but both believed in BIG government, BIG spending, and that they both believed that government knew what was better for us than we did.
We were sick that Obama was elected, but even more disgusted that the party we stood for, the "republican party" did not have a good alternative and that we had voted for that pathetic alernative.
We decided to never again vote for the lesser of the two evils, because America will not turn around until the people stand up and vote for who is right and NOT for who is popular. Our media has decided what candidates run by making them celebrities and we as Americans have followed and voted for what is popular and not for what is right.
I'm making this website for friends and people I come in contact with so that I can share what I find and what I believe with all of you so hopefully together we can find out who the "right" canidate for us is.
We may not all agree who that canidate is, but I hope we will all at least have an understanding of the options and stand by what each of us as individuals believe in.
This country was made great because of individuals and respecting each others opinions and God given rights. I hope this blog will continue that tradition.
I hope because you know me that you will take my opinions into account and truly listen to my opinions as well as the opinion of others and not decide based off of what is seen on TV and in the media, because they do not care for you like I do or like I believe you care for me.
